Gujarat Agricultural University
Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agriculture University (SDAU), Dantiwada, Gujarat was formerly known as Gujarat Agricultural University(GAU). SDAU in Sardarkrushinagar is one of the prestigious state agricultural universities in India.
Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University was established for the development of agriculture including animal husbandry and allied sciences in the state of Gujarat. It was formed out of Gujarat Agricultural University (established in June, 1972) that was converted into four different universities by Gujarat Government through Gujarat Agricultural Universities Act 2004. the University is recognized but not funded by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
SDAU offers courses in numerous disciplines related to agricultural sciences. The faculties, which run specialized centres, impart undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD level education under semester system.
