GCET replaced by CMAT 2013-14
GCET - Gujarat Common Entrance Test used to be the state level common entrance exam for admission into MBA and MCA programs offered through different colleges in Gujarat. Graduate students write Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GCET 2012) for admission into Master of Business Administration (MBA), Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programs offered through different institutes and colleges situated in Gujarat. IIM Ahmedabad in Gujarat does not consider GCET test score for admission.
GCET replaced by CMAT 2013-14
The Gujarat Technological University (GTU), the largest technical university in Gujarat had announced that from the academic year 2013-14, students who wish to take admission in MBA/MCA courses in any of the GTU affiliated and AICTE approved MBA or MCA colleges based in Gujarat, have to clear CMAT 2013.
GCET 2012 was the last edition of the exam that took place.

- Commencement of Sale of Bulletins and Online Registration: From Second Week of June, 2012
- Last date for Sale of Bulletins and submission of documents at help centers: 3rd week of June, 2012
- Last date for Online Registration: 3rd week of June, 2012
