Kachchh University

Education is the basic requirement for the development of any region. The Govt. of Gujarat has taken a commendable decision to provide a separate University for the region of Kachchh to fulfill the demand of the people of Kachchh.

The University is providing higher education at par with any other university of the state and India. Initially the University started with 10 colleges in 2004, now boosts of 28 colleges with more than 15000 students and nearly 200 teachers working in its faculties of Arts, Commerce, Science, Education, Law, Technology including Engineering and Pharmacy.

The University all necessary facilities that contribute towards good education, such as Library, Laboratories, Classrooms, Internet facility, Hostels, Canteen, Computer Lab, Seminars and workshops, and Transportation.
